PHRESH Approach

The Pittsburgh Courier has recently published an article shining light on the University of Pittsburgh and RAND research project called PHRESH.

PHRESH (short for Pittsburgh Hill/Homewood Research on Eating, Shopping, and Health) wanted to learn how the upcoming opening of a new grocery store in the Hill District may affect Hill District and Homewood residents’ shopping habits and diet.

Dr. Andrea Rosso, part of the PNA T32 Faculty as well as a PHRESH Investigator, offered some insight, “If people feel like they — and their community — matter, there’s hope.”
