We are thrilled to congratulate our very own Rebecca Ehrenkranz, PhD, MPH on her latest publication in the Journal of Experimental Gerontology! 🌟 This study brings to light the distinct patterns of brain activity associated with energy and fatigue in older adults. Dr. Ehrenkranz kindly provided a summary overview of the study, below:

Perceived energy and fatigue are distinct yet overlapping constructs with different effects on physical and mental health, but not much is known about how brain activity differs based on energy and fatigue levels. In this study, we found that different patterns of brain activity are associated with higher odds of experiencing declining energy and lower odds of reporting fatigue in older adults.
