Racism and Its Implications for Clinical Trials: A Workshop to Promote Understanding and Action

Medicine and clinical research have a long history of racism. Working to change systems and structures to eliminate systemic racism in clinical research requires us to learn more about it, willingly engage in difficult dialogue, and commit to a justice-oriented anti-racist praxis in our own research work. The goal of this workshop is to stimulate such dialogue and action among research teams at the University of Pittsburgh.
