Overview of physical principles, PET instrumentation, data acquisition, quantitative corrections (e.g. scatter, attenuation), and image reconstruction methods. Physiologic principles will be discussed to measure cerebral blood flow, cerebral glucose metabolism, ligand/protein binding, and amyloid.
